Old Friends and New Friends

My childhood buddies with our kids 20 yrs later(or 25 if we start counting from the day we all met). Julie, Colleen and I. Julie's daughter was hiding in the back...my Jeff was just hiding his eyes pretending to be invisible...and Colleen left her other 3 at home!

The Guazzo Curse

This is the photo I have been looking for for 5 yrs! I thought it was lost forever.

This was taken at the 2001 Virginia Tech Hall of Fame Banquet. The gentleman to the far left is our dear friend Ricardo Van Scales who was inducted into the hall of fame that day, and then you see the infamous Coach Frank Beamer of the VA Hokies...and then the CURSE. My Dear Husband shaking the hand of coach telling him he is a Pitt fan and we are going to beat them in a few weeks. Ever since that day Pitt beat VA Tech both home and away...they finally left the Big East to get away from the curse. Now I have proof!
